- Project Aviral, Haridwar &amp; Rishikesh - Does it bother you to see plastic polluting our mountains, forests, rivers &amp; oceans? - Do you think it's unacceptable to see people burning waste or tigers chewing plastic bottles? - Do you dream to use your communication skills to have a positive impact and see a cleaner planet? - If you've said yes to all of that, then come join Waste Warriors in our battle for our planet. - Aviral - Reducing Plastic Waste in the Ganga - This project will initiate a large awareness &amp; behavioral change campaign, focusing on solid waste generated in two of the holiest Ganga cities in Uttarakhand, Haridwar and Rishikesh. - We will positively change how local residents &amp; businesses, tourists &amp; vendors, ashrams &amp; schools, &amp; government authorities deal with waste in and around the Ganga. - Aviral is initiated &amp; funded by the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, in collaboration with the German development agency GIZ, and is being implemented by Saahas NGO, Saahas Zero Waste, and Waste Warriors Society. What will you do: - Provide logistics and admin support to the project team during field activities. - Ensure data collection, data documentation and timely reporting to the Assistant Manager - Build relationships with various community members in the city to be able to effectively launch various campaigns. - Provide any other support as required by the Team Lead and Project Coordinators. What should you have: - Solving socio-environmental issues - A degree in a relevant field is a plus, not mandatory. We care about your proven abilities &amp; skills. - 3 years experience in on-ground project implementation. - Experience of working in waste management sector will be given preference.
