Warehouse Operations Role

- The Team Lead - Warehouse Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and team supervision.

- The role requires strong leadership skills to manage warehouse staff, maintain optimal warehouse operations, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods.

- Ensure that all goods are properly handled, organized, and stored in the designated areas.

Inventory Control:

- Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.

- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure timely stock replenishment and minimize discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:

- Oversee the order picking, packing, and dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.

- Ensure that packaging is done as per company standards and products are handled with care.

Team Supervision:

- Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure smooth operations.

- Assign tasks to team members and monitor performance to ensure productivity targets are met.

Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure that the warehouse operates in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

- Implement safety measures and conduct regular safety checks to ensure a secure working environment.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and order fulfillment.

- Maintain accurate records of goods received and dispatched.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and increase operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with management to implement new procedures or technologies.

Skills Required:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.

- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
