DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Functional:
- In depth knowledge of brands/companies requiring warehousing space in their respective regions
- Relationship with brands, companies, manufacturing units, etc along with existing clients using warehousing space
- Relationship with 3PL companies for bulk leasing
- Responsible for marketing and canvassing new and upcoming locations to clients on BTS (Built to suite) model
- Draft and negotiate new and old contracts between lessors and lessee
- Coordinate with legal and architectural firms to close legal documents
- Responsible for developing new business opportunities for warehousing space leasing
- Develop, coordinate and implement plans to increase existing business and capture new business opportunities along with the BD team
- Collaborate and coordinate with other regional office and business lines
- Work in close coordination with internal teams and tap market sources to identify new leasing opportunities
- Developing proposals in response to Request For Proposals (RFP- s)
- Continuously identify opportunities to leverage the organisational strengths and create new avenues of income generation
- Identify avenues for cross selling different services offered by the organisation and generate revenues by cross selling
ROLE SPECIFIC SKILL SETS REQUIRED
- Understanding of warehousing, commercial space leasing business
- Knowledge of reading and responding to RFP's
- Ability and understanding of reading and responding to lease / legal documents
- Relationship management
- Previous background from leasing industry, IPC, warehousing or logistics
SOFT SKILLS:
- Collaborate and working with regional team
- Collaborate with BD team
- A self-governed individual who is motivated to lead a team and be led by seniors
