Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Warehouse Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping finished goods, ensuring efficient processes and optimal inventory levels.
- SAP Expertise: Utilize SAP for inventory management, stock audits, and reporting. Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the system.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance related to packaging, dyes, and chemicals used in our processes.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Automation Implementation: Drive automation initiatives within the warehouse to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align warehouse operations with overall company objectives.
- Industry-Specific Experience: Leverage experience in terry towel, sheeting, and spinning plant operations to optimize warehouse practices specific to our product lines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with SAP and warehouse automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards related to dyes and chemicals.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decision.
