Job Summary:
This position is responsible for finance partnering with Controllership business function through reporting, month close and reconciliation processes and work as an extended arm of US teams. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

What you'll do:
Month Close:
- Accounting month close JEs on a determined schedule.
- Perform refresh and analysis of monthly movements in Balance Sheet and communicate any material abnormal variations to the US controllership.
- Preparation and review of Financial Reporting Package post validation of SAP balances in Hyperion Systems with senior leadership
Reconciliations and Analysis:
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations, report irregularities, identify the root cause and work on the action plan to resolve any inaccurate and erroneous accounting transactions.
- Connect with WM.com, Supply Chain operations and Controllership to research and mitigate the loss accounted due to missing physical inventory.
- Perform and report various kinds of inventory and asset reports.
- Prepare and review reporting packs for various entities.
Operations:
- Timely and accurate billing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Intercompany Invoices.
- Invoice reconciliation for Sam's club and Supply chain Procurement teams
Other Responsibilities:
- As a member of Walmart's EFO organization, you will be responsible for finance business partnering with various finance functions and their leaders.
- Ensuring all activities are performed on time with utmost accuracy
- Responsible for providing financial support for planning and control and P&L management, consolidation and reporting of financial results.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous process improvements through building controls, Power BI, Macros or other automation/analytical tools
- Liaise with controllership and Finance teams to understand the business requirements, their expectations, upcoming changes and the impact.
- Be a good team player and build visibility for self and team across various platforms
- Ensuring process documentation is always updated and backup plans are in place.
Stakeholder Management:
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Work independently with senior Finance stakeholders with minimum supervision.
What you'll bring:
- MBA finance/CA with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Controllership or R2R domain.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounting principles and account reconciliation.
- Experience in working with global and cross functional environments.
- Good spreadsheet and PowerPoint skill and familiarity with SAP, BI, Essbase and Hyperion Planning or similar financial system, analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, adherence to deadlines, organizational skills, and analytical skills. Good written and oral communication skill. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities.
