About the Position:
Product Manager, Search & Browse
This role is part of the Retail Core Engine Product team (see description below) with a specific focus on product search and discovery. Its mission is to build world-class omnichannel search experiences for our hundreds of millions of customers by leveraging our rapidly growing selection of products and deep expertise in technology and machine learning.
As a Product Manager on the Search Product team, you will interface with multiple functions including engineering, data science, and operations. You will work closely with key stakeholders on the merchandising side and drive the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of search and browse experiences that enable customers to discover our products across multiple journeys and channels.
You will work on our core search platform including query understanding, intent generation and relevance engine, etc., that powers product discovery on our flagship channels like Walmart.com and Online Grocery. You will leverage Machine Learning to enable highly relevant search results at scale for billions of search queries.

Impact Profile:
- 4-5 years of Product Management experience.
- Good knowledge of Machine Learning. Data Science Background preferred.
- Self-directed, well organized and proactive.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership potential.
- Positive attitude, sense of humor and growth mindset.

We partner closely with Retail Leadership to ensure the experience from Supplier to Customer is seamless. As a product owner within the Retail Core Engine you- ll have a once in a lifetime opportunity to influence the behavior of hundreds of millions of consumers at the world's largest retailer. You- ll be challenged to deliver innovation at scale balanced with operational frameworks to ensure consistent performance. You- ll work in close partnership with engineering to define a roadmap, maintain agility, and navigate to deliver through any set of constraints.
