Wahl - Finance Controller

- Financial controller will be responsible to overseeing the overall functioning of Finance Department and will be responsible for management reporting, compliances, taxation and audit needs.

- Position would report to MD- Indian Operations with dotted line responsibility to APAC Finance Head.

Corporate Finance & Compliance :

- Responsible for leading a team of 10-12 finance resources in general ledger, accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable, credit & collections, payroll with respect to various business channels.

- Balance sheet management

- Responsible for managing cordial relationship with bankers.

- Managing the external auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards.

- Relations with headquarters financial leadership

Operational Finance & Management Account:

- Annual plan, budgets and MIS

- Performance review, variance analysis and corrective action

- Expenditure control, profit improvement measures

- Decision support to MD and the board on commercial matters such as duties, taxation, risks, cost metrics et al.

- Partnership with management to provide information to support sales and profitability growth and optimizing taxation.

- Lead ERP/M.I.S. function

Controllership & taxation

- Finalization of financial statements of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow & analytics associated with them.

- Compliance with regulatory requirements of company law, tax laws and other statutory requirements.

- Administering timely Compliance of various direct and indirect taxes like GST, TDS, etc.

- Tax planning & tax payouts.

- Preparation of details for Budget and Forecast

- NPD Costing, KPI Preparation and Analysis

- Margin Analysis - by product, customer, segment, etc.

- Gross Margin /Contribution analysis

- Inventory reports and analysis, Material Movement Analysis

- Detailed Analysis of Expenses for Management review

- Capex and Investments controlling, Investments monitoring and ROI evaluation

- IT management - Maintaining the current infrastructure, identifying needs, and coming up with most efficient and cost-effective solutions, etc.
