Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager/Director to lead and expand our Silicon Services business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and market penetration in the semiconductor domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Strategy & Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Silicon Services, focusing on ASIC design, FPGA design, embedded systems, Design verification, Validation and emulation and SoC development.

- Create and execute a strategic plan to achieve revenue and business growth targets.

- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to position VVDN's offerings effectively.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in semiconductor companies, OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliers.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Work closely with the engineering, pre-sales, and delivery teams to define customer requirements and align services to meet client expectations.

- Facilitate smooth communication between the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Sales & Negotiation:

- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including proposal creation, negotiations, and contract closures.

- Develop and deliver compelling pitches and presentations tailored to client needs.

Reporting & Metrics:

- Track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline growth, revenue achievements, and customer acquisition data.

- Provide insights to senior management on market trends and business opportunities.

Key Requirements:

Experience:


- Minimum 15 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 5 years focused on semiconductor or silicon services.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of ASIC, FPGA, SoC, and other silicon design services.

- Strong network within the semiconductor industry, including customers and partners.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic thinking and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
