VrataTech - Senior Role - SAP ABAP

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Functional Consultant in SAP ABAP and Fiori to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ABAP Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing and enhancing SAP S/4HANA solutions, with a focus on ABAP development and Fiori user interface design.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements for SAP S/4HANA systems.

- Design and implement Fiori applications, adhering to best practices and following SAP UI guidelines.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

- Perform system performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.

- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions.

- Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production support activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Extensive experience (7+ years) working as an Senior SAP ABAP Consultant/ABAP LEAD, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA projects.

- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), ALV reporting, BAPIs, BADI, and User Exits.

- In-depth knowledge of Fiori design principles, SAPUI5, SAP Gateway, and OData services.

- Experience in developing and enhancing Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE or Eclipse.

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development tools such as CDS views, AMDP, and BOPF is highly desirable.

- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- SAP certification in ABAP and Fiori is a plus.
