About our Client - Our client is a leading corporate and investment bank with rapid expansion of their operations in Indian market. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centers in APAC and increase in volume of trades globally, they are seeking experienced Investment Banking Operations professionals for their captive centers in India.

Job Description - As a VP Trade Control for Equities reporting to a Director, you would be responsible for running the Equity and Prime Trade Control functions:

- Development and implementation of department wide policies and procedures, and responsibility for directing day-to-day operations.

- Management oversight of all KRI's and KPI's

- Ensure all applicable governance, compliance, risk policies and procedures are adhered to and a mechanism exists to promote escalation by staff where appropriate

- Extensively collaborate with Product Control, Front and Middle Office.

- Managing expectations of global stakeholders and multiple internal client

- Ensuring a controlled environment for operations processing thus achieving & exceeding standards

- Overseeing planning & day to day management of resources to ensure service delivery

The Successful Candidate - You must be MBA/Bachelors with at least 14 years of relevant experience within a large Investment Bank in the Risk and Control domain and should have been a Vice President for at least 2 to 4 years. You must possess excellent knowledge of Risk and Control with understanding of Securities specially the Equity products. In addition to that, ability to lead, motivate and influence large teams is highly sought. Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills is a must.
