About our Client - Our client is a mid-sized Indian Private Equity Fund that has a successful track record since inception of investing in high growth companies across a range of sectors including TMT, Consumer and Retail, Healthcare and Financial Services among other opportunistic sectors. The team has between 10 and 15 members and is led by industry and sector specialists who are passionate about the investing story in India. The culture is extremely dynamic, fast paced and meritocratic and this augers well for your quick professional growth.

Job Description - You will develop the Technology investing practice by sourcing, evaluating, executing and monitoring investments related to IT services and outsourcing companies. The fund looks to invest between $15mn and 30mn in each transaction. Although at a VP level, this is a unique leadership role to grow quickly once you have executed investments and built a track record.

The Successful Candidate - You will have an MBA from a tier 1 institution such as ISB or IIM and an Engineering academic background. Additional qualification such as a CA is preferred. You must exude real passion for the Technology space and demonstrate a thorough understanding of IT services and outsourcing companies. You will have 4-6 years of Technology related experience post MBA with an Investment Bank or a Private Equity fund in India. You would have executed deals in the outsourcing / IT services space and have a good understanding of recent trends and events in the sector. This is your opportunity to lead the sourcing and evaluation of investment opportunities in this space.
