About our Client - Our client is a leading bulge bracket investment bank with one of the most profitable Investment Banking practices internationally. The last few years have seen a renewed focus on the Indian operations and they have been consistently rated as one of the top work places in the country. They are looking to expand their technology team in India and are looking for a pro active and capable individual to join the technology team.

Job Description - This role reports to the Executive director and will have 5-6 VP and AVP level direct reports. The total number of FTEs managed will be close to 200. Main responsibilities include Spearheading business requirements and specifications for initiatives in technology.

- Act as a functional expert on applications which come under the role.

- Complete quality management during all phases of the development lifecycle including strategy, plans and schedules.

- Developing reports and replying to queries on business and/or user requirements.

The Successful Candidate - The successful applicant will have an MBA/Masters equivalent from a respected and recognized institute with at least 7+ years of relevant experience in managing teams in technology across banking & financial services domain. You will have a bachelors degree in engineering/IT and will be an exceptional leader and communicator.
