About our Client: Our client is a large MNC Financial Services firm with significant growth plans for the region and are looking to grow their Global Risk and Audit team supporting multiple sites across APAC region. As part of growth of the team, they are looking for a VP/SVP to lead their audit team based out of Mumbai supporting audit for businesses across global geographies. They are looking for a seasoned professional with strong experience with a financial institution or audit firm to grow this strategic team.

Job Description : Reporting into Director - Internal Audit, you will be responsible for providing independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and global regulators.

- You will also play an important role in providing independent assurance that the oversight, governance, and risk management frameworks are in place to effectively manage supplier risks and are designed and are operating effectively across geographies.

The Successful Candidate:

- You should be a CA/MBA with minimum 10 years of experience working with a financial institution or Big 4 audit firm in risk advisory or audit.

- You should have strong ability to engage the group of accomplished business heads and provide proactive advice on variety of audit matters maintaining the independence of the function.

- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and managing integrated internal audit and assurance delivery within a matrix environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and senior management.

- Strong understanding of international financial regulations will be preferred.
