Vice President/SVP - Technology Transfer - Agro Chemical Industry

Age Group: around 45 - 53 years (Preferable). Exceptions can be made if otherwise found suitable.

Qualification and experience :

- B.Tech/M.Tech (Chemical) & Project Management (preferable).

- Chemistry/Chemical technology orientation, familiarity/exposure with existing and emerging technologies, familiarity with contract manufacturing space etc. would be most desirable.

AND/OR

- Candidates having strong experience in TT/Basic & Detailed Engineering/Kilo Lab and Pilot Plant operations with string hold on Process safety

- 20 - 25 years in large Chemical/Agro Chemical/Pharma industries or related industries.

Job Responsibility (Indicative only) :

- This position will be mainly responsible to ensure smooth transfer of Technology from R&D to pilot and main plant. Set optimizing norms, conversion and quality parameters.

- Conceptualise project and implement with plant teams.

- It would also include wide range of activities for New Product, technology evaluation, technology selection, process development, pilot trails, commercial scale up.

- Optimize norms, yields, quality etc - data generation and guide the Team for data compilation and filing.

- Collaborate with Technical Services to continually improve norms/yields/effluent treatment and quality parameters etc.

- Collaborate with R&D for new product technology development, Identify and coordinate contract manufacturing opportunities for intermediates.

- Generate data and facilitate registration filing across geographies and crops.

- Good understanding of global trends in product use and phaseout, Technological advancements in manufacturing, process safety and bi product generation.
