Our Client's Investment Banking Coverage team has been forged with extensive sector expertise and deep corporate relationships. The team offers comprehensive and integrated financing solutions & advisory encompassing a high-quality product suite that includes ECM, PE, M&A and Structured Finance
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a strong deal pipeline by closing deals consistently.
- Deal making: VC/ PE fund raising and M&A for start-ups in the digital/technology driven businesses
- Assist coverage team in mandate origination & active engagement with potential clients
- Work on pitch books, background research on specific targets / sectors
- Establishing strong relationships with investors; specific focus on venture capitalists and technology focused investment firms
- Acting as the primary day-to-day client point of contact, IB team and product partners
- Refining marketing/execution materials by generating creative financing and strategic ideas
- Identifying and managing all risks in a given deal
- Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 8 years of experience at an investment bank with solid experience across a range of transaction types.
- Experience in end-to-end deal / transaction closure is a must.
Education
- MBA from top reputed B-school's or a CA
Candidate Profile
- Eye for detail with ability to simultaneously manage transactions across different sub - sectors (Fintech, SAAS, E-Com, etc.) in the digital space
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams and maintain strong motivation levels which drive results and deliver high level performance in a result-oriented environment.
- Strong networking capabilities and existing relationships within the banking, financial institutions, venture capital, UHNW's and private equity ecosystem within India.
- Solid understanding of market dynamics and ability to analyze trends in the marketplace and make timely and independent judgment decisions
- Thorough in understanding valuation techniques financial models.
- Proven exceptional track record of sourcing deals and building business from ground up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to to convey ideas and successfully lead and execute engagements
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
