Role - VP Structured Finance

Experience : 7+ Years

Responsibilities :

Pre-Deal Related :

- First level of credit analysis and filtering of credit analysis in relation to structured transactions

- Assisting structuring team in initial pitch books and term sheet preparation, particularly with respects of credit aspects of the transaction

- Good understanding of India regulations and market dynamics would be critical

- Basic understanding of fx & rates product would be good

Deal Execution Related :

- Ensure delivery of high quality credit analysis and business support to structuring team.

- Preparing internal heads up/full blown credit memos for discussion with credit and other committees

- Ability to understand structural dynamics and highlight credit risks and mitigants needed for structural improvement

- Propose, calibrate and manage preparation of transaction specific credit model and ongoing monitoring tools, in sync with the structural requirements

- Assisting in deal specific due diligence, including collateral valuation aspects

- Lead rating discussions for credit aspects of the transaction

- Help in deal execution by coordinating with relevant teams internally

Post Deal :

- Post trade monitoring, including regular credit updates, covenant monitoring, collateral monitoring documentation follow-up- s, etc

- For underwriting transactions putting together information memorandum/sell down material. Work alongside to engage with investors

- Managing and tracking the deal specific monitoring deals, with regular updates to various stakeholders, such as CRM

- Take initiatives to share knowledge with the teams and promote cross team coordination. Using this knowledge to improve existing deal monitoring systems/processes

Skill-set :

Experience : 7+ years in corporate credit analysis. Basic financial instruments / derivatives knowledge or exposure to credit structuring area in previous roles, understanding of local regulations & India market dynamic will be an advantage

Qualification :

- Chartered Accountants, IIT Grads, MBA in Finance

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Attention to detail with consistency in quality and timely deliverables. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment & should be good in organizing and prioritizing

- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn and apply learning quickly. Excellent team player
