Company - Leading Investment Bank

Location - Mumbai

Role & Responsibility :

Assist country and business management with the following :

Drive Group Strategic Initiatives and Client Coverage :

- Manage business and account planning, identify and address coverage gaps/concerns

- Ensure appropriate focus on franchise/priority clients and other identified targeting initiatives

- Oversee client coverage and resource deployment

- Monitor and report on delivery against specific plans and KPIs

- Ensure appropriate focus on, and communication of, One Bank efforts

- Business strategy and implementation

Drive Risk & Controls regime and initiatives within Group :

- Work in conjunction with R&C team to implement risk management monitoring activities, cascade communications and execute required actions within Group

- Ensure Compliance policies are understood and supervisory responsibilities are exercised

- Serve as Group management point person for any issues related to policy or procedure breaches, identified risk issues, and disciplinary matters

- Oversee local control environment

Monitor Financial Performance and Manage Forecasting :

- Ensure accurate tracking of key financial indicators- revenues/RAS, recoveries, SoW, etc.

- Manage pipeline reporting and measurement against targets

- Implement effective budgeting and planning processes

- Monitor financial performance metrics and plan/execution actions accordingly

- Drive expense management agenda

Human Capital :

- Work with Group Head to oversee implementation of all human capital initiatives, such as junior banker initiatives, training, performance management

- Play active role in ensuring appropriate banker platforms

- Manage Group recruiting (campus and lateral) and coordination of other HR functions, including mobility

- Foster positive morale and recognition within the Group and coordinate diversity/inclusion initiatives

General support :

- Support group management meetings and act as conduit to escalate issues

- Ensure smooth interaction with Shared Services

- Coordinate, facilitate and drive business support and infrastructure agenda

- Maintain local governance processes and standards

- Execute and delegate administrative tasks
