Job Background/Context:

Qualification : BE/MBA

Experience: 9 to 18

Note: Candidates from consulting background preferred and should have six sigma or lean experience(must)

The APAC Productivity and Re-engineering team is responsible for identifying opportunities and helping lead Clients efforts to improve productivity across all countries and products in Asia.

The re-engineering framework has a number of critical components:

- identifying and prioritizing productivity improvement opportunities and estimating savings potential;

- preparing project plans, rolling out key initiatives in priority markets and supporting their ongoing implementation;

- ensuring sufficient transparency and accountability is in place for the overall reengineering program, and making sure that benefits are delivered according to plan and project investment spend is optimized;

- ensuring effective productivity metrics are built in to existing management scorecards and used to target areas for improvement; and

- partnering with businesses to embed process improvement capability ‘at the point where the work gets done’.

Job Purpose:

The person will play a critical role in implementing the Citi Lean transformation program in the region. He will work with senior management, business and support partners alike to implement Clients Lean projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take on a leadership role in the implementation of a Lean process improvement program in the region.

- Assist businesses to setup and run Lean / Six Sigma initiatives in the region.

- Provide training and assistance to business resources in the Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies.

- Ensure project investment is being optimized across the portfolio and best practices are being incorporated from across the region.

Other Responsibilities

- Help communicate and champion the productivity and reengineering framework in the region via presentations and leading management training sessions, where required.
