VP - Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Play an active role in scaling-up the Engineering organization in alignment with organisation's growth strategy.

- Driving tech architecture, tech design, and keeping track of the complete development process

- Bringing strong technology leadership to drive high-quality work in the areas of product development

- Define the software modules needed for an integration build

- Working closely with the product management and other stakeholders to understand the critical issues customers are facing and use technology to resolve the same

- Be responsible for all strategic objectives and initiatives or programs as defined by management

- Recruit, develop and retain a high performing contemporary team.

Key requirements:

- 5 + years of professional technology experience. Software Engineering experience in a e-commerce product organization

- Past experience of scaling projects from prototype to hundreds of thousands / millions of users is a plus.

- Robust understanding of technical competency building, vertical development and incubation of new product and service offerings.

- In-depth knowledge and experience in cost, time, risk and project management with proven ability to deliver high quality products and services.

- Strong communication skills and past experience of leading developers is crucial.
