Job purpose :
Provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy. Monitor and analyse sales and marketing activity against goals.

Strategic Planning :
- Providing inputs for organizational strategy
- Participating in organizational business reviews
- Identification and exploration of new opportunities for business growth
Sales :
- Ensure the top line as well as bottom line numbers as per the organizational target requirements :-
- Budget and forecast for the yearly targets and ensure the tracking on the monthly basis and monitor achievement of sales targets on periodic basis.
- Product pricing and formulating weekly sales plan and activities at zonal level
- Appointment of new distributors and retailers and mapping meetings.
- Penetration of existing and new markets/zones
- Timely order collection and collation from distributors, projects and retailers
- Agreement on commission structure and credit period with customers
- Monitoring and reducing the pool of overdue accounts receivables
Marketing :
- Brand Management viz. awareness through online channels of communication, media interactions and press relations, new product launch activities, participation in trade fairs / events / expos / road shows.
- Develop annual marketing plan and calendar including budget
- Identify target markets and target channels of communication
- Market research and analysing market trends for benchmarking and product / price analysis
- Establish guidelines for branding and explore avenues for branding
- Convene seminars or conclaves of architects / builders / retailers / contractors / masons
- Region specific festival celebration meet with customers
Profitability and Cash flow management :
- Set cash flow targets by preparing and maintaining forecast
- Establishing clear payments terms from the outset
- Emphasizing technology to shorten the cash conversion cycle
Systems Management :
- Managing schemes, campaigns, forecast through CRM.
- Execution through ERP and CRM for monitoring tasks and improving employee productivity.
- Tracking all other KRA through MIS
Customer Relationship Management :
- Key account management and servicing of distributors, retailers and projects
- Building and maintaining a pool of architects, contractors, purchase managers etc.
- Drive and encourage customer satisfaction and feedback, redressal of grievance
- Organization of product training and concept selling workshops
- Training and skill building for Sales team of distributors
Team Management :
- Delegate daily / weekly tasks and assign targets to team members
- Ensure compliance with standard operating processes and company policies
- Review performance of team including goal setting and performance appraisals
- Identify and close training and skill building needs for Sales team
- Address grievances of team members and facilitate suitable resolution / escalation
- Motivate and guide team to excel individually and as a team
Qualification, Knowledge & Skill Required :
Master's Degree in Marketing from premium colleges Viz preferred IIT, IIM and min ten years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
