Profile :

Candidate will lead the Sales, Channel Management, Outbound Logistics & Sales Administration, Marketing, and Customer Care (Service) functions for the Construction Equipment business. Overall responsibility for the business objectives of Sales Volume, Market shares, Customer Satisfaction and Functional Profitability goals will rest with the candidate.

Reportees: Head Sales, Head Channel, Head Marketing, Customer Care, Sales Administration and Logistics functions.

Candidate will report to Business Head of the Construction Equipment business.

Key Deliverables:

- Develop Sales, Channel, Marketing and Customer Care strategies to drive the business objectives of Sales Volume, Market shares, Customer Satisfaction and Profitability goals.

- Design and implement specific programmes/projects to meet the annual and long terms goals of the business.

- Build an effective distribution channel that can support a wide portfolio of Earthmoving products.

- Be responsible for operations and delivery of the following annual and monthly targets for all the relevant functions:

- Sales Volume, Market Shares, Customer Satisfaction Metrics, Mean Time to Repair, Warranty Cost, Brand Metrics, Departmental expenses, Expected Price Realisation, Spares First fill Ratio, Employee Satisfaction & Retention, Product Launch metrics.

- Acquire necessary talent to staff the relevant functions to drive the growth objectives of the business

- Continuously monitor and improve employee satisfaction for all the team led.

- Continuously work on improvement of competencies for all members of all the teams led.

- Take ownership for sustainable business practices in terms of governance, financial viability & risk and customer satisfaction.

- Develop systems and processes and ensure rigorous implementation of systems and process for meeting business standards.

Competencies & Profile:

Candidate should have had at least five years of experience at CXO level reporting to CEO or Business Head. Should have had experience in more than one function. Should have the necessary sophistication to operate at senior management levels and combine experience in field operations plus experience in leading one or more functions at the Corporate level. A high level of managerial competencies will be required. Candidate who have a successful track record of working in green field projects would have an advantage.
