Hiring for the Position Title of Vice President: Reference Data Operations for a leading, global financial information services organization.

Position Summary:
- Reference Data teams delivers consistent, accurate and timely reference data across multiple asset classes and varied set of clients, both internal and external.
- The role is critical in ensuring that we have the right set of measurements that captures the health of process and product from an operations standpoint.
- Also in creating a right control framework that ensures proactive, sustainable and consistent delivery on product aspects.
- It is an absolute expectation to identify and drive opportunities for improvement that will drive the business forward.
- The area of work will have an impact on more than 100 Reference data staff across multiple regions and 5 broad product areas.
Duties & accountabilities:
- Collaborates across functions to drive the definition, design and implementation of global and regional metrics across all Reference data product operations globally.
- Define and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Key Risk Indicator (KRIs) that measures the health of processes and support management decision making
- Has oversight of the metrics and quality production group, ensuring quality and timeliness of all metrics.
- Accountable owner for building and monitoring effective risk control measures
- Responsible for tying up with the product development, delivery and client management functions to ensure optimum operations support in driving strong improvements in client experience
- Responsible for driving operational efficiency and performance results for the operations group at a global level.
- Create and present MIS reports to all stakeholders including senior management.
Education and experience:
- University degree in Management, Engineering, Science or Technology
- Possesses 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Prior experience in Financial/Capital Market Services would be an added advantage
- Strong working knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, stakeholder management, use case definition
Business Analysis Techniques:
- Exposure to PMP / Six Sigma Green Belt will be ideal.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, Visio etc.)
Commercial Awareness:
- Experience of working in a global and geographically diverse organization
- Excellent commercial awareness
Management requirements:
- 4+ years of people management
- Experience of building and maintaining strong professional relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
