VP - R&D - Formulations & Development - Pharma

- Role & Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and development activities to formulate new products or improve existing ones in accordance with project objectives and timelines.

- Design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to develop optimized formulations that meet product specifications and performance requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure successful product development from concept to commercialization.

- Utilize scientific principles and techniques to troubleshoot formulation and processing issues and propose effective solutions.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.

- Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and procedures in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

- Must have done US / EU filling activity.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the R&D department.

Qualifications :

- M.Pharma & Ph.D. preferred.

- 20 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in [industry/sector].

- Strong knowledge of formulation principles, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.

- Must have good knowledge in Parenteral / Complex Injection / Topical .

- Must have knowledge of Technology Transfer, Scaleup Activity, Product Development etc.

- Must have done US / EU filling activity.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance.
