About the role:
You will be responsible for:
- Conceiving and developing innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
- To be expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and to transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.
- Provide marketing automation for all channels (includes analytics, online forms, tracking what people do when they come to your website, personalizing website content, managing email campaigns, facilitating the alignment of sales and marketing through lead scoring and automated alerts to sales people, informing these activities with data from your CRM and third party sources, and more)
- To nurture prospects with highly personalized, useful content that helps convert prospects to customers and turn customers into delighted customers
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the market
- Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for the products
- Market intelligence - be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
- Leveraging technology in marketing activities:
a) Analytics (google analytics, Has offers, Flurry etc)
b) Conversion Optimization
c) Email
d) SEM
e) Remarketing
f) Mobiles
g) Marketing automation
Requirements:
- Start up experience (with firms that have grown by leaps and bounds in last 1-2 yrs and where marketing has played a key role in their growth)
- Prior experience of launching a product in marketing
- International exposure is a plus
