Job Description:

- Provide proactive sales leadership and support to Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Global Sales Verticals & Strategic Account teams in India, Japan, Singapore, and other Asian countries as identified.

- Take the lead on hosting strategic customer meetings in Bangalore as necessary to ensure smooth & successful visit.

- Work with the Global Sales Leadership team to coordinate and synchronize Regional plans with overall Vertical plans, with the objective of identifying, mapping outsourcing opportunity, planning, and winning new Must Have Accounts (MHAs) in the region.

- Lead a team of 8 to 10 people for managing the business.

Industry Focus: Aerospace,Defense,Oil & Gas etc.

Desired Industry Experience:

- Experience working for or with large multinational companies in domains such as Power Generation, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Industrial.

- Experience staring or working for small, private entrepreneurial firm.

- Engineering and/or product development knowledge.

- 15+ years of experience is a must.

Key Technical Skills:

- Business Development – Opening, Solution development and closing

- Large Account & Business Relationship Building & Management

- Commercial Negotiations (Western, Indian & Asian Cultures)

- Creative & unsolicited solution development with minimal customer requirements

- Engineering background – Design or Manufacturing Engineering

Desired Education:

- BE,MBA (Preferably IIM's)

- Advanced training in Sales related areas

Baseline Responsibilities:

- Develop opportunities for Client to grow business within the Region by providing Customers & Prospects with innovative and value-added solutions that differentiate Client.

- Take ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to winning & contract closure.

- Work closely with enabler & delivery teams to create winning proposals and to operationalize new opportunities.

- Capture “Voice of the Customer” and work with cross-business teams to maximize client satisfaction and to increase our opportunities for growth.

- Achieve targeted revenues from a diversified range of services as well as from current business from Must Have Accounts

- Successfully negotiate commercial terms & conditions consistent with company goals

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

- Train, Lead and Support subordinates by providing them with guidance in the area of Business Development, Account Development Framework / Sales Process, and Value-Selling Skills

- Lead Cross-Functional team for Strategy & Proposal development

- Continuously develop & prepare subordinates for roles of greater responsibility
