To support their constant growth and bring their business to greater heights they are looking for a talented and experienced leader to join them as a Vice President - Risk and P&L within their Global Markets Equity Product Control team. The role is based in Mumbai (INDIA)

Job Description - You will be accountable for managing and growing the service delivery for Daily T+1 P&L production and monthly financial control. The principal products covered are Cash Equities, Prime Finance, Equity Derivatives, CDS and IRS. Your core responsibilities will include:

- Ensure daily T+1 P&L production with appropriate attribution and analysis,

- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly balance sheet review, with substantiation and potential financial exposure,

- Accountable for performance and associated risks for all activities performed within the service delivery group ensuring at a minimum all SLAs are met,

- Lead, motivate and manage a team of 85+ people,

- Responsible for recruitment, training and development, talent management, retention and compensation,

- Foster an environment that understands and effectively manages risk, abides by risk and control guidelines,

- Partnering with the change team and onshore stakeholders to deliver an optimum operating environment through the adoption of best practice, kaizan, lean methodologies and strategic technology initiatives,

- Ensuring that the integrity of the operating environment meets audit and regulatory standards.

The Successful Candidate -

- You will be a confident and mature qualified accountant with at least 10 years of Product Control experience within the Investment Banking industry.

- You will have excellent knowledge of Equity products and their accounting treatment with prior managerial experience.

- You are fully conversant with the fundamentals of Financial Controls in a banking environment and possess detailed knowledge of the Greeks and the front-to- back investment banking environment.

- Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent and you have a track record of successfully managing client relationships globally.
