Job Description:

Designation: VP (Site Leader)

Experience: 10+ years of work experience with at least 7 years of people management and at least 3 years of owning a complex and critical business process end to end.

Team Size: Min. 300 - 400 People

Location: Bangalore

The role is a critical role within Retail System focused on expanding leadership position in price competitiveness. This will primarily be responsible for defining and executing strategies for sharp pricing of Retail selection. Every year, selection addition to the catalog coupled with changing competitive dynamics in the market segment puts the onus on this leader to find scalable and efficient processes to stay competitive. You will work with the business teams, handle systems or operations issues in a timely manner, and communicate to all stakeholders. As part of the leadership team, you will work on developing the pricing algorithms and strategies. You will drive timely, accurate and efficient processes to ensure price competitiveness though relentless process improvements.

Ideal candidate Profile

A successful candidate will have an established background in successfully managing critical and complex business processes, excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with a fast paced environment. You must be very comfortable defining, developing and using metrics to drive the vision and manage the business. The candidate will have a demonstrated record of team building and execution in a high volume operational environment and be able to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. This requires a person that is very metrics driven, yet has the vision to scale the business. The candidate must have a proven track record of partnering with technology teams and leveraging automation to drive efficiencies in operational processes.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or operations management required.

- Business analysis acumen, with substantive experience measuring the success of a complex business process and proposing new business opportunities

- Operational support and passion, with experience in establishing, measuring, and meeting service level agreements, improving the availability, performance, and quality of systems, and managing complex on-the-fly operational concerns.

- Demonstrated ability to hire and develop strong leaders and building a high performance team

- Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills

- Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

A track record of communicating worldwide with executives and non-technical leaders, Experience with multi-national companies, dealing with customers across the world.

MBA from Top tier schools and six sigma certification is preferred.
