We have an urgent opening with our client in Pune.

VP - PMO

- Data Models & Definitions - to ensure that the data attributes & calculation models used by the RFDAR processes are well defined, documented & can be referenced consistently on an ongoing basis.

- Data & Models Governance - To ensure that the data attributes & calculation models used by the RFDAR processes are sourced accurately and used in accordance with our governance policy & principles.

- Data Sourcing - To build and implement data feeds to support various market and regulatory changes, in an agile and consistent manner.

The Data sourcing team has established a Delivery Management PMO function with a total strength of 5 staff. We are seeking to recruit a VP to join the growing team. The role involves: -

- Face-off to the Change PMs for the status on data sourcing changes supporting Insight risk engine functionality changes

- Face-off with CRO IT for the prioritization and resource allocation for the development of data sourcing changes.

- Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in project management.

- Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.

- Manage a team of an AVP and 3 ENOs to produce the various MI packages and KPIs for onward presentation to senior stakeholders on various governance and prioritization meetings.

- Act as a steward for the delivery management JIRA tool, and ensure the strict adoption and maintenance on an on-going basis.

- Provide assistance to maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a PMO.

- Develop positive relationships with Internal and external teams to enable the PMO to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and training.

- Assist with establishing PMO management plan and implementation of the communication framework.

- Share lessons learned and best practices across project, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels

- Understand the deliverables of internal and external PMO customers and contribute to success through cooperative and collegial processes.

Qualifications:

- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance/Economics/Sciences

- Any formal project management education like PMP, Prince2, CAPM, P30

- At least 10 years of work experience in a financial institution as a PMO with good communication and Stakeholder management Skills

- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint)

- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.

- Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management.

- Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective

- Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

- Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.

- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, making, sound judgment, assertiveness.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably.
