What will you be doing?

Planning and Stress Test BAU processes: Support and strengthen the control environment in the P&ST processes, as and when required including:

- The role will be a single point of Contact for the P&ST FTC into the other services within the Chief Controls Office and BIA

- Provide input and review on adherence and completion of risk assessments including but not limited to Risk and Control Assessments (RCSA)

- Defining and centralizing the control processes for regulatory assessments within the FTC, and embedding the control framework into the activities involved in the delivery of the stress testing cycles into the Workflow tool

- Controls oversight for major change initiatives

- Oversight of ORAC data integrity (timeliness and quality) in line with the Control Framework;

- Coordinate and track gap analysis and implementation of policies and standards;

- Governance, MI & Insights: Provide regular controls insights to P&ST leadership to ensure risk and controls issues, risk events and required actions are fully understood and remediation plans are put in place as necessary.

- Responsible for collaboration with internal and external auditors on the controls testing plan and provide support to them to ensure timely completion of audit exercise and facilitate the results to senior management.

- Responsible for maintaining governance framework, controls testing document evidences, and independent validation ensuring compliance with BCBS 239 stress testing principles.

What we- re looking for:

- Formal Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)

- Control experience in major business area or function. Ability to understand, implement and drive improvements to a risk & control framework

- Understand and manage Risk, Compliance, Governance, Control & Regulatory practices.

- Experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders in different business functions who have different objectives e.g. Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal.

- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present credibly to senior stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience of Capital Risk, Conduct Risk, Reputation Risk, Data Risk and/or Change Management.

- Experience of working within a regulatory and control environment.

- Experience of working within the financial services industry

- Good understanding and experience of regulatory capital and stress testing requirements
