Job Description :
The Project Office within Treasury Services provides project, user acceptance test and implementation support to the multi-currency payments operations group.
Key Objectives Of The Role :
- To follow the test script, and each error raised, through to completion or to meet the defined exit criteria. To provide testing sign-off to implementing an enhancement to production.
- To perform business testing and regression testing of system's enhancements.
- To understand a user's requirement in order to perform user acceptance testing on an application before being promoted to production.
- Recording of test results and investigating each deviation which may be the result of a known or new error.
- Provide regular updates and raise any potential delays or slippage that may impact the scheduled implementation to the Senior Test Analyst, Test Manager or UAT Manager.
- To ensure all impacted parties are fully appraised and/or trained in all aspects of the enhancement prior to implementation.
- To be able to apply testing techniques to TS IBM mainframe applications.
Technical Competencies Of The Role :
- Have an understanding of the fundamental test process comprising of planning, specification, execution, recording and checking for completion.
- Be able to define what makes a successful test scenario ie it has a reasonable chance of finding a fault.
- Be able to identify the test objective of each scenario and define test conditions either valid or invalid.
- Be able to categorize business, functional and non-functional tests.
- Be able to define the boundaries for testing a system's enhancement.
- Be able to define the scope for partial regression testing by selecting a subset of test cases that cover impacted functions or applications.
- Have an appreciation of the types of non-functional testing including performance/stress, security access, disaster recovery, conversion, memory management, procedure, reliability, configuration etc
- Have a high-level understanding of the core applications and products of the Treasury Services business.

Qualification :
- Masters Degree (e.g. CA, ICWA, and MBA) with 5 years of post qualification experience or Graduate with Minimum 7 years of work experience in a financial institution. Should have the experience of managing a team of over 40-50 employees.
- Working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations.
- Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must.
- Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
- Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues.
- An acute client focus.
- Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills.
- Experience of working / partnering with Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
- Project Management/ Implementation experience would be a plus.
