About our Client - Our client is one of the leading players in the diamond jewellery business and is one of the fastest growing MNCs. To integrate their operations vertical and support the growing business they are looking for someone with strong operational background in manufacturing sector. The role is based out of their Andheri office.

Job Description - Reporting directly into the MD and having a team of around 7 direct reports, you would be required to:

- Integrate the Order to Delivery process including Planning, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Customer Service

- Establish the production planning process for International ,Domestic and Retail business

- Maximise productivity; minimize production and procurement costs and improve product quality through implementing state of art system; processes and technology.

- Ensure effective production planning in SAP and daily monitoring to ensure On Time Delivery

- Ensure diamond/metal and consumable procurement activities are synchronized with production planning and business goals

- Ensure efficient transport and logistics management through vendor identification and rate negotiation

- Monitor the daily order fulfillment status and approve changes to production plan basis business needs

- Identify areas of improvement in productivity and quality and lead change management efforts in manufacturing

- Develop team members and the critical talent in the Operations & SCM function

The Successful Candidate - Ideally you have 10+ years of strong experience in operations and supply chain function (Mechanical Engineer + MBA experience preferred) of a company in manufacturing sector. You have a strong drive and experience to set up systems and is well aware about the SAP functionality. You have demonstrated in past a strong inclination and success track record for integrating and streamlining processes and have managed a sizable team successfully.You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are looking to take on the next challenging step in your career.
