Experience & Requirements:
- 12 – 15 years in Asset Operations & Financial Accounting in a Retail Bank or in an NBFC (Exp in handling operations for Mortgages / SME is a must)
- Should be a good communicator and extremely good at presentations.
- Should be good at process management, have an eye for detail, understand technology /accounting procedures and compliance / systems, should know documentation for SME and Mortgages
- Ability to manage and supervise vendor relationships
- Should understand P&L, should have service orientation
- Should be able to bear the pressure of sales and credit teams
The responsibilities for this role are:
- Create, develop, manage and drive the entire “Operations, Loan Management & Customer Service” department
- Responsible for managing the related technology system, team, infrastructure and competence development and improvement.
- Create systems, process, team and infra to
- Aid in smooth processing and ultimately effective disbursal of the sanctioned transactions.
- Ensure effective adherence to the operations and accounting policies as laid down by the company and as per the regulatory and legal frame work.
- Custodian and owner of all the “Operation” policies and manuals and their effective and timely updation, compliance and implementation.
- Ensure that all customers receive welcome letters, interest certificates or any other communication as required on time.
- Manage entire process of safe custody & storage of customer and collateral documents and their retrieval.
- Manage the entire process of closure of loans and issuance of NOC. Create proper check and balances and reporting.
- Liaison with the finance team of the company to ensure proper recon of the funds disbursed.
- Ensure the proper, timely and effective financial accounting for the SME & Retail assets business & management and regulatory reporting therefore.
- Efficient and effective fund management in liaison with the central finance & treasury department of the company
- Manage all vendors associated with the Operations department.
- Manage the entire Operation Department cost and budgets.
- Manage effective after sales service process and very high standard of service quality.
