VP - Operational Risk Management - BFSI

Specifically, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

- Regional Support to continually enhancing the Division's system entitlements and Segregation of Duties program

- Responsible to be the Regional Information Security Officer for Operations, coordinating with Tech & Data Information Security policy team to ensure compliance and manage/prevent incidents

- Development, implementation, and maintenance of risk reports covering most asset classes and Operations Functions (e.g. Wealth Management, Investment Management, Institutional Services, Shared Services)

- Support key components of the operational risk frameworks such as RCSA, New Product Approval oversight and Incident Analysis.

- Provide periodic update to Operations Senior Risk Officers on Risk & Control Environment

- Conduct Extensive Trainings on Operational Risk Management

- To present Operational Risk Profile to Regional Risk Management committee

- To handle India focused Internal Audit Queries, requests, observations

- Promoting a risk aware culture across operations.

- Displaying leadership in managing a diverse set of Business, Finance, Technology, Audit and Operations stakeholders and subsequent deliverables

Skills Required:

- Good knowledge of financial services operations and the securities markets

- Experience in Information Security Management

- 10-15 years- experience in the financial industry or similar role

- Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills with ability to tailor message to audience or varying levels

- Proven ability to collaborate across functional areas, developing relationships, setting strategy and driving agendas

- Good analytical skills, able to extract key information and pre-empt management questions on the data presented

- Ability to analyze data and craft a risk story that will aid in overall risk mitigation for firm operations

- Strong presentation skills and confidence to host meetings

- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines

- Highly Proficient in MS Office and related applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

- Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence others

- Control & risk focused, with experience in operational risk

- Ability to understand issues and move projects forward
