Qualification : CA/CS/Management Graduate

Experience : 15-20 Years

Job Purpose :

Mid-Office facilitates processing of wholesale loan transaction as per approved terms & conditions. Ensure proper & timely client communication. Custodian of securities/collateral. Handles external as well internal communication with various stakeholders (Banks, Depositories, Trustee & other SBUs of company). Co-ordinate with different auditors including Statutory and Regulators.

Key Responsibilities :

Managerial Responsibilities :

- Ensuring proper grooming, learning & development of people

Functional Responsibilities :

- Working knowledge in Financing business - Familiar with standard loan documents, Security creation, Mortgages, pledge/unpledged/invocation/Corporate action of Listed/Unlisted securities, Demat account opening, Escrow mechanism.

- Accounting knowledge - Interest calculations, Default interest and equity linked/simple redemption premium, Repayment Schedule as per Loan covenants, Restructuring, Rollovers, NCD selldown and related accounting. Basic knowledge of Ind-AS and IFRS will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of capital market and Depository operations

- Past experience on development of technology solution for loan management/MIS will be an added advantage.

- Data Management and reporting - Regular/ irregular/ Overdue a/c's, Interest Payments, Loan repayments.

- Co-ordination - Communication with both intra and inter groups - Depository, F&A, Trustee, Operations, Treasury team, Banks

- Regulatory and Compliance - SMA/NPA reporting as per RBI guidelines. Co-ordination with internal compliance team to ascertain compliant business. Aware of basic regulatory filings such as CERSAI, CRILC etc.

- Basic understanding of RBI Guidelines for NBFCs/Banks.

- Capability to understand the business needs and deliver required solution

- Audit and compliance - Handling Statutory, Internal, RBI audits. Group Control audit

- Client communications and ability to deal with senior internal stakeholders

- MIS dashboards

Functional Competencies :


- Credit Mid Office

- Interpersonal skills, Good negotiator, Strong Process knowledge (Banking, Depository, Trusteeship & Security)

- NBFC business & understanding of loan documents

Behavioral Competencies:

- Eye for detail

- Excellent execution skills
