Job Title: VP- Master Agreement Risk

Function: Operations

Job Summary:

- Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation.

- Liquidity & Collateral Operations (LCO) manages the operational elements for daily funding and liquidity of the firm, oversees the firm's payment strategy and overall cash flows and positions, and also performs key functions related to counterparty risk management, client transparency, and product and pricing data. In addition to the traditional line functions, LCO is home to Operations Technology Strategy and Reference Data Strategy, both of which focus on strategic process and technology solutions for the division and often the broader firm.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop, motivate, and lead a staff of Analyst and Associates within the Master Agreement Risk Management Team in Bangalore.

- Line Management and day to day functional oversight

- Manage risk with respect to teams daily operations

- Review and analyze ISDA/CSA and other Master documentation for approvals; Identify key risks in documentation.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Legal and Credit systems and the teams workflow to be able to guide and advise the team on complex issues

- Liaise and build relationship with key stakeholders including Legal, Credit, Middle Office, Strats, Corporate Treasury, Collateral and other internal teams on issues.

- Work closely with IT to identify/resolve system issues, and implement system enhancements to increase efficiency in current processes.

- Identify potential risks in operational processes; develop and implement controls to mitigate risk.

Preferred Qualification:

- Knowledge of ISDA documentation and supporting CSAs.

- Knowledge of Derivatives business.

- Understanding of securities.

- Legal, Credit, Corporate Treasury, Funding background
