About our Client - A leading Indian investment bank with a specific private equity fund focused on the real estate sector.

Job Description - Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the full legal drafting, vetting and documentation process pertaining to the real estate sector as well as private equity documentation for multiple transactions

- Be an integral part of the commercial and client facing elements of structuring a transaction

- Develop internal processes on risk and compliance for the fund as well as portfolio companies and monitoring any changes

- Draft standard legal documents like NDA, liaison with external parties to close the agreements whilst managing placement and management agreements

The Successful Candidate - With solid experience in Corporate Documentation, Shareholders Agreement, Investment Agreements, Umbrella and Supplementary agreements required to complete deals, you will have had experience in coordinating with ROC, Investee companies, SEBI, BMC and other regulatory bodies. You should have interacted with Multiple Law firms and should possess excellent knowledge on all areas of litigation. With experience in handling legal negotiations, arbitrations and other sensibilities you will ensure portfolio compliance both from the fund and companies perspective and ensure periodic compliances.
