Lean Transformation Champion (VP)
Position Objective:
- This is a role within the Global Trade Transaction Services Operations team, and will be responsible for supporting the deployment of LEAN Transformation across TTS operations globally.
- Through application of Lean principles, TTS operations is targeting to transform processes and supporting infrastructure to further increase efficiency, simplicity, consistency and customer-orientation across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the implementation of LEAN techniques and methodology across TTS operations in conjunction with senior operations management while considering strategic goals
- To assume responsibility for relevant aspects of the program from planning through to delivery
- To engage with external consultants to bridge capability gaps while ensuring internal bench strength by building a team of Lean practitioners
- To support and drive improvement initiatives and strategic projects to ensure the sustainable success
- To manage site specific LEAN Transformation projects and monitor progress
- To embed a culture of continuous improvement and deliver tangible and sustainable benefits
- To develop visual management tools to propagate LEAN methodology on operations floors
- To support TTS LEAN Academy and define/develop a training and certification program
- To conduct and roll-out specific training programs as necessary
- To define, develop and implement process and performance KPIs
- To prepare and present progress reports at steering committees and other senior management forums.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Accomplished senior manager with 12+ years of reengineering, quality management background.
- Familiarity of TTS businesses and the future direction, in order to incorporate appropriate strategy components is mandatory
- Demonstrated consulting skills, either in a consulting firm or corporate environment
- Significant project management experience in a complex, multi-project environment
- Experience of using Lean, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement techniques
- Familiarity with identifying and implementing optimized location strategy through effective use of right placement and right shoring strategies
- Significant experience in identifying and building functional utilities and centers of excellence which leverage best practices and disciplines
- Recognized change manager and one who embraces change.

- Quality management processes, practices, and technologies
- Superior execution skills and ability to drive results

- Senior Leadership skills are absolutely essential and incumbent needs to take the initiative by being proactive and provocative in supporting the formulation of innovative ideas.
Qualifications:
- Graduate
- MBA desirable
- LEAN, six-sigma certification, desirable

- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts amongst Senior Executives
- Ability to develop strategies that are aligned with business goals and execute on those
- Ability to build effective, long-term business relationships with key stakeholders
- Familiarity with technology and ability to leverage new technology to deliver optimal solutions to match operational needs
