Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation of large/strategic programs for Risk & Finance IT in APAC covering all aspects of program management through all phases of SDLC and ensuring these align with the Business/IT strategies
- Business Partner/ Stakeholder management, partnering with them to achieve business priorities/objectives and building a trusted advisor relationship
- Work with Business/Change/IT Delivery organizations in defining the overall scope of the Program and implementation approach
- Develop expertise on all components involved in the Front-to-Back architecture globally and contribute to Business process and IT process improvements.
- Work with the Program Portfolio/Process Quality Management Team in ensuring quality standards of deliverables
- Understand organization's Audit, Risk & Control requirements, contributing to the development of standards and ensuring project delivery conforms to those standards
Desired Skills
- Graduate Degree with Finance or Computing as a major.
- PMP/PRINCE 2 Certification.
- 18+ years of Project Management with 3-5 years of Structured Program Management, gained in an Investment Banking environment and with exposure to delivering/working in Strategic Programs
- Thorough Financial products knowledge, in the context of Investment Banking (IB) trading activities; with a strong understanding of Front-to-Back process flows in a typical IB environment and preferably strong knowledge in Front-to-Back Office Processes, specifically around Risk and Finance systems
- Very strong inter-personal and management skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills; Analytical and logical thinker.
- Team Leader fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to software development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Work well under pressure - be prepared to - go the extra mile- when required.
