VP - IT Infrastructure/Technology

The VP of Infrastructure Services will expand and enhance the companies IT capabilities, allowing the organization to move to the next level of performance and capability. This role will go hand in hand with the VP- Technology.

Job Values:

- Oversees Service Desk and Network Operations management.

- Oversees data center provider management and governance

- Oversees Telephony/Network, Security, Unix/Linux environment, Storage, and Wintel environment

- Oversight of all capacity planning assuring infrastructure capacity and application capacity requirements are met before customers are negatively impacted

- Coordinates the activities related to running production/ development/ test/ QA Applications environments. Develops and implements solutions for database sizing/capacity, server requirements and space requirements

- Works closely with the architects to ensure that they are including Operational requirements and guidelines in the development of new applications Partakes in all Disaster Recovery initiatives

- Provides input to forecast future of application/database administration, monitoring, and testing tools

- Provides training to enhance the use and value of these tools

- Oversee others who are assigned to research, plan, and perform deployment of defect fixes, application upgrades, database upgrades, and the implementation of security policies

- Works with the Networks and Systems groups to design platforms that are robust enough to support the needs of the business

- Understands impacts of infrastructure on business operations

- Solves problems related to installation, implementation, maintenance, and operations of middleware and related infrastructure components
