VP - Internal Audit - CA - Microfinance

Recruiting for Head Internal audit position for a leading microfinance player in Southern India

Key Responsibilities

- Develops department level, goals, objectives and budget so as to best support achievement of the overall organization goals

- Monitors performance versus budget so as to ensure cost effective implementation of the Internal Audit plans

- Ensures timely preparation and efficient execution of the internal audit plan to ensure integrity of internal systems and processes

- Managing credit policy of the company so as to minimize delinquency and ensure quality of portfolio and minimize the risk faced by the organization

- Ensures definition and continuous improvement of risk management and internal control processes in order to reduce operational risk faced by the organization

- Contribute significantly towards building strong and effective risk awareness and control consciousness within the organization

- Responsible for recruitment, retention, skill development, growth and satisfaction of team

- Drive the Internal audit agenda through a defined framework of meetings, reviews and reporting mechanisms

Charted Accountant (First & Second attempt / rank holders desirable)

Team Management, Analytical skill, Knowledge of NBFC operations

8-10 years of experience in BFSI; At least 5-6 years in Internal Audit / Risk
