Corporate Technology & Risk’s (CTR) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the firm’s computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the firm's risk posture.
Overall Responsibility:
- The IT Risk & Security Management Business Manager position has responsibility for day-to-day operational processes around the management of the India CTR organization, including business management and program management.
- The role will provide strategy, analysis and the creation of management materials supporting staffing, efficiency, quality and controls that are directly related to the running of the CTR organization in India.
- The individual in this role will report directly to the head of CTR in India.
- The successful candidate is a Business / Program Manager with a proven track record of managing all support aspects of a multi-team, multi-location business unit.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop, maintain, and communicate business strategy and metrics
- Provide analysis and solutions to drive resource and financial strategy
- Determine meaningful metrics and drive procedural changes that result in improvement of departmental efficiencies, control and financials
- Provide sound planning around location strategy including compliance with the IAS framework for movement of work
- Provide strategic planning and a framework for the management of India IT Risk talent
- Work on programs driven by the India CIO’s office as applicable to CTR
- Maintain a continuous focus of productivity enhancement
- Provide financial and resource data analysis and forecasting ensuring the business runs at or below forecasted levels
- Metrics & reporting for the CTR organization in India
- Workforce planning including capacity analysis
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across groups (Finance, ATC, PMO, etc.) to ensure the right level of engagement necessary to effect the agenda
- Assets & Inventory Management for India Location
- Manage internal communications and Employee Engagement related activities for India location
- Work with global counterparts in CTR in the management and implementation of global business management initiatives and programs
- Vendor Governance and Management
- Coordinate Philanthropy initiatives for the group
- Resiliency Risk Management
- relevant work experience; at least 4-5 years in a BM / PMO / Chief of Staff role
- Proven track record of driving significant improvements and excellence within an organization
- Preferred backgrounds are Business / Program Managers or managers with proven record of managing large teams
- Experience working in multinational enterprise with matrix organization will be a plus
Technical Skills:
- Sound skills to drive executive-level presentations including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of management
- Business process improvement mindset with a drive for controls, automation and efficiency
- Excellent word processing skills with MS Office, Project, and Visio
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Other Skills / Requirements:
- Ability to develop and lead improvement initiatives in a cross line of business technology organization, build rapport and garner respect in a collaborative cross-cultural environment
- Sound analytical skills, critical thinking ability and experience building metric based solutions
- Mature and good people skills are a prerequisite
- Collaborative style, the ability to interact with senior management and ability to build appropriate relationships to effect strategy
- Excellent influencing for impact skills, highly motivated and results oriented
- High level of energy, the ability to work effectively under pressure, tight schedules, and flexible hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent judgment and proven decision making skills
- Excellent English language skill is a must
- Ability to travel when required.
