Job Summary:
The AVP - HR Operations will oversee and manage the end-to-end HR operations function. This includes payroll management, compliance adherence, HR automation, and process digitization. The role requires a strategic mindset to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management:
- Lead and oversee the entire HR operations lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage employee records, and HR databases, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management.
Payroll Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary disbursement, taxation, and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Address payroll discrepancies and ensure a smooth resolution of employee queries.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Keep up to date with statutory requirements related to employment laws and implement necessary updates.
- Manage audits related to HR operations, including payroll, labor law compliance, and benefits administration.
HR Automation and Digitization:
- Drive HR technology transformation by implementing automation tools and digital platforms.
- Enhance HR processes using data analytics and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure HR systems are integrated for seamless data flow across platforms.
- Work with vendors and IT teams to optimize HR technology solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, IT, and business units.
- Act as a bridge between HR and employees, ensuring smooth resolution of operational issues.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on HR operational improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources.
- 15+ years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, payroll processes, and labor laws.
- Experience in HR automation, process digitization, and HR technology implementation.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and payroll software.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
