VP/HOD - Ops - Thermal Power Plant

Client of Maven workforce – is looking for VP/ HOD Operations for Thermal Power Plant

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible to plan, organized, coordinate, supervise and control the Operation activities at an O&M site. To manage the complete Power Plant Operation function correctly and efficiently as per laid down procedures/ contract. These functions include upkeep of the boilers, turbines, balance of plant (BOP) and the facilities available in the plant, To plan, allocate and monitor, Boiler operation, Turbine operation, BOP Operation, Condition Monitoring, co-ordinate with the maintenance department, external services, prepare/present MIS reports, within the guidelines of company policies with the objective of ensuring smooth running of power plant and meeting Customer expectations

Candidate Requirement:

MUST HAVE

- The candidate MUST have the experience of handling operations of power plant with capacity of Minimum 1900 MW

- Must have experience in handling multiple units.

Preferred Experience:

- Decision making during any emergency operation. Liasioning with Boiler Inspectorate on need based. Manpower management within the department.

- Internal – Power Plant Manger, Chief Chemist, HOD - Mechanical, Planning Manager, HOD - Electrical, HOD - Instrumentation, ACM - BTG, GM - BTG Technical b Operations, Contract Manager, Logistics, GM (HR), Manager-Personnel (O&M), Operation HODs of other BTG sites.

- External – Customer, Vendors, contractors, external service provider, prospective customers / visitors in the plant.

- Knowledge about Emergency Preparedness and Response to Emergencies...

Experience Required: 20 YRS

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree

Compensation Details:

Salary: Minimum 20 L - Max 50 Lacs p.a.
