We are looking for a Head Product Management (VP) for this planned e-commerce venture.
Job purpose: Based on consumer expectations and behavior, define, launch and deliver delightful and differentiated web experience (features and functionality) to consumers in a profitable manner
Principal accountabilities: Primarily responsible for management of Ecommerce products and services (i.e., capabilities, features and functions) which support the customer's overall web experience
- Conduct competitive scan and consumer research and analysis to develop the product roadmap
- Ensure effective and efficient execution of roadmap in collaboration with peers in other functions such as Engineering, Merchandising/ Sourcing, Supply Chain/ Operations
Requirements Analysis
- Ongoing communication and collaboration with Engineering to develop, test, and launch the product
- Training and rollout activities
- Post rollout monitoring (e.g., of adoption and usage)
- Define, track, and improve key product metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, repeat purchases, cross-sell and up-sell, gross margins)
- Search Engine Optimization
Core skills:
- Analytical problem-solving
- Understand technology and how it delivers business solutions
- Ability to interface directly and collaborate with Engineering team
- Prioritization to facilitate short iterative cycles of product development
Qualifications
- B.Tech (Computer Science) with MBA
- Prior experience in e-Commerce Product Management of 3+ years and total software product management experience of ~10 years (Age: 32-35 or more)
- Preferably experience in dealing with Agile Software Development teams
