- 7+ years of experience with a strong background in Ecommerce sales on either the brand or marketplace side.
- Strong knowledge of online marketplace sales; marketplace marketing (AMS etc) and track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience of managing and building teams in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong work ethic with the desire to improve every day at work.
About the Role:
- The person would be the leader of our marketplace sales business and would report directly into the founders.
The role involves :
- Working with founders on setting the strategic direction and vision for the marketplace business
- Owning and growing P&L for all marketplace sales across 10+ mktplaces
- Executing on and identifying opportunities to improve sales via Content; In Marketplace Marketing (top, middle, bottom of the funnel) o Marketplace SEO ; Deals o Inventory o New Product Launches o Partnerships o etc
- Manage key relationships with external stakeholders such as marketplace category managers
- Managing team of 6+ people that is responsible for ensuring daily execution
- Tracking bottom-line drivers across portals (product mix, discounting, mktg mix etc)
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure day to day execution
