They are currently looking for a candidate to spearhead their Matrimony Gifts division and and make it the ultimate destination for marriage gifting, with an overall sales and profit responsibility under the guidance of the CEO/Board.
Job Description:
Position: Vice President – Matrimony Gifts
Reporting To : CEO.
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Business Model, Product strategy, Branding & Positioning for the Matrimony Gifts vertical with the guidance of CEO / Board
- P& L, Responsible for driving the revenue, sales budget, and profitability
- Product : Identify revenue opportunities in the matrimony gifts category and design products and campaigns
- Strategic Alliances: Build / Buy / Partner market entry strategies with right product mix, vendor development, negotiation etc.
- Define product-level and feature-level messaging platforms to be used by consumer marketing, B2B marketing and PR to inform outbound communications program.
- Audience Monetization: Create demand for matrimony gifts and go beyond match-making using the captive customer base of the client.
- Organisation development : Build the Product, Marketing, Sales and operations team
- Evolving a 360°approach for each campaign / launch TV / radio / OOH / internet / mobile /innovative mediums to create maximum impact and visibility

Candidate Profile
- Post Graduate in Business Management from a reputed school.
- 12 – 16 years experience preferably from retail Industry.
- Extensive sourcing, category management, sales & marketing experience.
- Highly energetic, business savvy management professional with proven competencies in learning new products and services, new markets, new verticals and should have made a significant business impact / transformation in the previous assignments.
- Should have the potential to manage an Internet Portal
