Role Summary/Purpose: In this new role, the Vice President, India Hub Analytics Leader will lead a growing team of professionals supporting the growth goals of company via partners, customers, and effective decision making to meet P&L and risk management through best-in-class analytics and data management practices. Reporting to the head of Analytics, this role will interact and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional business teams to support these goals. A strong people leader, this role is critical to developing talent, building a future pipeline, and breaking down silos to cross-train and create career pathing for the large and growing team.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Partner with the Analytics and Data Management senior leadership team to drive analytic initiatives supporting Companys' strategy across growth, marketing, product, P&L, credit, operations, customer and partner experience, and other goals
- Identify and leverage appropriate analytic methods and tools to support business needs - across platform/ partner support, data science, decision management, journey analytics, product and strategic analytics, consulting analytics, data products, and data management
- Ensure appropriate quality measures and governance in the team's activities for high quality, consistent delivery of data, insights, tools, and strategies
- Lead cross- border engagement between US and India teams to drive collaborative working culture and innovation across the organization
- Develop, present, and explain the value and vision of proposed solutions to cross-business senior leaders and stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership in various initiatives/projects
- Promote innovation and support the team from ideation to execution
- Develop and lead a team of 100+ professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, engagement, career pathing and development opportunities
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Bachelor's degrees and 12+ years of Financial Services industry experience in credit card and/or consumer financial risk/credit management and analytics
- Minimum of 8 years' experience managing a large team of professionals from entry level to experienced team members
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources
- Strong data analytics skills
- Proven results at driving change and effectively communicating in a matrixed environment across all levels of the organization
Desired Characteristics:
- MBA and/or master's degree with advanced analytic focus, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of SAS, R or Python programming skills and big data
- Deep and broad knowledge/understanding of the unsecured lending market and how analytics tools and techniques can drive business strategy
- Ability to simplify complex data sources into a holistic improved customer experience and improved business decision making through data insights and analysis
- Independent judgment with strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Experience collaborating, communicating, and influencing different stakeholders to drive inclusion, efficiency, and creative solutions
- High energy and self-motivated, especially in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Experience in Analytics leadership roles, preferably with responsibility for teams supporting multiple functions
- Excellent change management skills; proven ability to lead through change
- Self-starter, high motivation and ability to work well independently as well as motivate and energize teams
