Head HR for an SBU of Leading Indian Conglomerate. Responsible for managing the entire HR agenda includes developing the HR strategy and ensure effective implementation. Will need to develop and maintain a team of competent employees, create a high performance and positive work culture; develop the succession planning road map; manage improvement in Employee Satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
- Co-create the people strategy including effective manpower planning system
- Deploy & implement strategy across zones to complete HR Strategy planning
Organisational design :
- Create the organisational structure enabling business requirements
- Deploy structure for assigned channels to ensure optimum structure that drives business growth
Succession planning :
- Articulate roles and grades within the organization hierarchy
- Partner with supervisor in creating an integrated talent management framework
- Develop and implement talent / career management processes
Talent acquisition :
- Develop the sourcing plan the organization
- Implement a comprehensive hiring process and assessment model, enabling the selection of right talent
- Focus on leveraging non consultant sources
Compensation management :
- Support business in decision making (Fitment) & allocation of compensation quantum for assigned patch
- Drive moderation of ratings for the assigned patch
- Support creation of incentive programs that support strategic business initiatives, deploy and monitor effectiveness
Performance Management :
- Create and the Performance management framework for the organization
- Ensure robust implementation of the process across
- Assist the business heads in making promotion decisions
- Identify critical positions & suitable candidates for development
HR operations & compliance :
- Provide feedback on processes & enhancements required in order to ensure alignment of HR processes with business objectives
- Ensure alignment with all statutory requirements
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
Employee relations :
- Monitor investigation and action taken on Employee Grievances / Disciplinary issues, violation of ethical norms
- Provide coaching & counselling for own patch in order to build a motivated team; and ensure smooth & cordial relations.
