Job Description :
- VP- head of collection will look after the Pan India Collection
- It involves both soft and hard collection
- Reporting to the leadership directly

Description:
Strategic:
1 Developing Collection Strategies: Formulate and implement national collection strategies and policies to achieve optimal cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
2 Setting Targets and KPIs: Define performance metrics, set targets for collection teams, and establish KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
Operational:
1 Overseeing Collections Operations: Supervise collection activities across various regions, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
2 Managing Recovery Processes: Handle the recovery of overdue accounts, including negotiating payment terms, coordinating with legal teams for recovery actions, and managing write-offs.
Team Leadership:
1 Leading Collection Teams: Manage and mentor regional collection managers and teams, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company's objectives.
2 Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of collection staff, keeping them updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
Risk Management:
1 Assessing Credit Risk: Evaluate the creditworthiness of customers and make recommendations for adjustments to credit limits or terms based on risk assessments.
2 Handling Disputes: Manage escalated customer disputes and complaints related to collections, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
Stakeholder Communication:
1 Coordinating with Other Departments: Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service departments to address issues related to collections and improve overall customer experience.
2 Client Relations: Maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns related to collections and recovery.
Process Improvement:
1 Optimizing Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve collection processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency.
2 Implementing Technology: Oversee the implementation and use of collection management systems and tools to automate and improve collection efforts.
Profile:
ideal candidate should have:
- worked at Pan India level for handling collections and recoveries
- managed a team of ACMs, ZCMs, RCMS, and tele calling along with FoS collection team
- worked on efficiently managing the NPAs and recoveries
- at least 15 years of experience in soft and hard collections
- worked on digital collection as well
