VP - Group Strategy - Investment Bank

We are hiring for a Vice President role in group strategy for a leading international Investment Bank.

- MBA degree (or equivalent) MUST

- At least 6 years of relevant consulting experience

- The candidate should be able to assist in managing the Group Strategy offshore team

Salient team features:

- Supports the Management Board.

- A critical role in supporting senior management (in Europe, Asia and US)

- preparation of various briefing documents and presentations

- It also provides analysis and review of group performance vis-à-vis leading global banks, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Job Responsibilities:

The role in question is for someone to work across all the above work areas of the Strategy team. In addition to that, the person will be required to:

- Provide key inputs / comments for the Monthly Business Review Meetings between the CEO / Business Heads.

- Review financial performance of major peers and send earning flashes to senior management.

- Prepare the Quarterly review of market developments and performance of our competitors.

- Management of dedicated strategic projects based on management reviews

- Assist various departments for sourcing and providing inputs in the preparation of the quarterly earnings process.

- Analyse internal/external data based on adhoc requests received from senior management

Job Requirements:

- 6-8 years of experience; consulting background will be preferred

- Excellent Excel skills, Word, Power point skills

- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment & interpersonal skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Good Multitasking Skills

- Handle work pressure and organize tasks in order to meet deadlines

- MBA degree MUST, preferably in business or other quantitative field (mathematics, engineering, etc)

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines
